Procrastination and lazziness are the easiest routes in life.

It's been nearly a week since i last touched my sad, little story and yet I'm all but surprised. My mother was in town for the weekend, heavy work at the store and continuing wedding arrangements make me sleepy and less prone to writing in my free time. Hopefully, after 9 october and our return from Spain, there will be more freedom. Although I see myself looking for a job at that point. Getting management at the bookstore was something I long wanted, and now that I have it, I find myself growing more distant from the work I've been doing for 4 years and more interested in leaving. --Perhaps, shorter, sweeter entries will be more beneficial, as well as prolific. My friend tends to do longer, much more eloquent entries, but they are so widely spaced I wonder at times if he is still alive or dropped off the cliff of that strange island he inhabits (although me thinks a resurected cadaver would be far more appropriate and ironic; perhaps it seeks your mechanized neck joint thingy).

So in the vein of brevity, here is what happened: H & I bought an increadibly cool antique toolbox this weekend at The Eastern Market. It's not something we trully needed, but we both wanted it. We worked on our wedding vows, which is an interesting scattering of puzzle pieces. And very little else. Four days in a row off from work and little to show for it. Of course it always could be worse:
